Islamic Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy

My name is Jodie and I am a psychotherapist who is passionate about holistic, Islamic psychotherapy and coaching. I work with believing people who want to heal, be it from childhood experiences or experiences later on in their lives. These experiences can result in anxiety, depression and low self esteem. I hope to help you recover from these difficulties and rediscover yourself.

There are a couple of different ways you can work with me: therapy, coaching, courses and supervision. I use integrative methods taking wisdom from Islamic psychology, cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion focused therapy.

Please have a browse around the website. You'll find information about my services, more about me and resources.

Frequently asked questions

How do I start the process?

You contact me via email or click the "Contact" button above. You will be sent a referral form and relevant policies. When you've completed these forms and returned them, we agree on a date and time for your first session. Your first session is an assessment where we, together, understand what is happening for you and where you want to be by the end of therapy.

Where are you based and where do you work?

I am a UK based therapist, working with UK based organisation frameworks and ethics. I work with people all over the world. There are however a small number of countries where I am unable to offer therapy due to local laws about international therapists. I am able to offer coaching worldwide. My face-to-face sessions are provided in Wilmslow, Cheshire. My other sessions are offered online via Zoom, and I am also able to offer telephone sessions. Currently face-to-face sessions are unavailable due to COVID-19.

How is my information used?

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), any personal information sent via this website will only be used to contact you with details of services you have requested. Your personal details will not be retained for any other purpose, nor will they be shared with any other organisation.

What are your fees and when are sessions available?

Both therapy and coaching sessions are £70 an hour. For professionals, supervision or consultations are £50 per hour. Sessions are available Tuesdays: 4:30pm - 7:00pm Wednesdays: 4:30pm-5:30pm Sundays: 12pm-6pm

How many sessions do I need?

This is dependent on you, your individual needs and individual goals. We will spend some time during your assessment discussing how many sessions you'd ideally like to have.
