Referral and FAQ
How do I start the process?
You contact me using the form on this website or on the phone number or email above. I send you a referral form and relevant policies.
When you've completed these forms and returned them, we agree on a date and time for your first session. This session is confirmed upon payment. Sessions are £70 for one hour.
My working hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9am-4pm, and on Sundays between 12pm-6pm.
How does therapy work?
We meet for a first session to complete an assessment. The aim of this is to decide together what the problem is.
We work towards agreeing a formulation which means making sense of what keeps the problem going.
The treatment is collaboratively working together to address the problem.
Endings are important too and we will spend time on relapse prevention which is all about helping you keep well by making you your own therapist.
Where are you based and where do you work?
I am a UK based therapist, working with UK based organisation frameworks and ethics.
I work with people all over the world. There are however a small number of countries where I am unable to offer my services due to local laws about international therapists.
My face-to-face sessions are provided in Wilmslow, Cheshire. My other sessions are offered online via Zoom, and I am also able to offer telephone sessions.
How is my information used?
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), any personal information sent via this website will only be used to contact you with details of services you have requested. Your personal details will not be retained for any other purpose, nor will they be shared with any other organisation.
